I’ve spent more than two decades climbing, and the appeal has never faded. Whether it’s moving along a rocky ridge, tackling a sea cliff, or finding a quiet corner of a crag, I’m driven by the blend of physical challenge, problem-solving, and shared adventure that the outdoors offers.

Although I’m based just south of Cumbria, the Lake District is where I feel most connected. It’s the landscape I know best — a place I return to week after week to explore new routes, refine skills, and keep learning.

Alongside my paramedic training, I work as a Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor, helping others discover what the outdoors can offer. I’ve supported school groups, outdoor education programmes, and a wide range of UK-based expeditions over the years. Seeing young people push themselves, grow in confidence, and experience genuine adventure is a part of the job I value enormously.

I’m excited to be working with Summit AP and to play a part in shaping the experiences of its students. Expect challenge, growth, and the chance to see some of the most spectacular places in the country — all while building memories and friendships that last long after the journey ends.
